We also offer intermediate-level classes, which can be taken after completing our beginner sessions. Salsa and Bachata beginner sessions start every four weeks and are progressive. Bachata RICHARD DUARTE Richard began his dance journey at just 4 years old right here at Rhythms Dance Studio. Since then, he has participated in countless performances and has grown into a remarkable bachata dancer. Known for his natural charisma, stage presence, and passion for dance, Richard continues to inspire both his peers and the audience every time he steps on stage. Ballet MICHELLE OLSON She graduated Cum Laude from UCLA with a B.A. in both dance and anthropology. Dancing consistently since the age of three, she has trained in a wide variety of styles including ballet, tap, jazz, modern, hip hop, house, West African, and more. Her knowledge for dance and choreography was expanded at UCLA where she performed and showcased work in multiple productions in the World Arts and Cultures/Dance department. Salsa / Bachata joshua soto Puerto Rican and Salvadorean descent, has been dancing since an early age for various Las Vegas salsa companies. He has also served as director of his own dance companies. His performances exhibit an excelled and advanced salsa footwork, body movement, and styling, which is enhanced by a natural musicality and the ability to express sincere emotion through rhythm and movement. Salsa / Bachata sergio jasso Began his professional career in 2005 as a dancer as a dancer of the Majesty in Motion company in San Diego California. Where he also began to participate in national Salsa competitions and won his first championships. This has allowed him to travel the world and achieve important recognition as an instructor, coach and choreographer as well as judge of several international Latin dance competitions. Salsa / Bachata lu sensation Started her dance journey with salsa, but it was bachata that truly captured her heart. With a fierce passion & vibrant energy, she also teaches dancehall & reggaetón, sharing her love for Latin and urban rhythms with every class. Since arriving at Rhythms 3 years ago, Lu has become a driving force in the community-founding and leading the largest ladies styling bachata team in Las Vegas. Her mission goes beyond dance: she empowers women to own their strength, express their femininity, and shine unapologetically. Dance Class Policies 2025 - 2026 Season Adults & Kids Dance Classes Our Policies Dance Class Policies 1. Registration & Enrollment All students must complete a registration form and pay the monthly membership fee before participating in classes. Enrollment is confirmed only after tuition payment and signed waivers are received. Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. 2. Tuition & Fees Tuition is due on the first of each month and is non-refundable. Full tuition is due every month regardless of attendance and/or holidays. Payments do not vary due to holidays or the number of weeks in a month. Tuition will NOT be prorated. Late payments may incur a late fee of $20 after the 10th of the month. Missed classes will not result in prorated tuition or refund, but may attend another section of his/her class during the week to make up a missed class. If, for any reason, it becomes necessary to withdraw from a class, please notify by email (info@rhythmslasvegas.com ) Call 866-783-6577 or speak to Ms. Valentina while in studio before the 15th of the month to avoid tuition being charged the following month. Tuition and other fees will continue to be charged until notification is given. No refunds. Costumes and recital fees are billed separately. 3. Attendance & Make-Up Classes Regular attendance is essential for progress and performance readiness. Students should arrive 10–15 minutes early to prepare for class. If absent due to illness or emergency, notify the studio in advance. No refunds or deductions are given for missed classes or when studio is closed for holidays. Good attendance is essential to the child / individual progress. Make-up classes must be scheduled within 30 days of the missed class and are subject to availability. 4. Dress Code Proper dance attire and shoes are required for each class type. Ballet: Pink/Purple/Red Leotards, tan tights, ballet shoes, hair in a bun. Jazz/Tap: Fitted top, leggings or dance shorts, appropriate shoes. Hip Hop: Comfortable athletic wear, clean sneakers (no street shoes). No jewelry (except small studs) and no gum during class. 5. Studio Conduct Students are expected to show respect to instructors, classmates, and studio property. Disruptive or disrespectful behavior may result in dismissal from class. Parents are asked to observe quietly and avoid interrupting instruction. No food or drinks (except water) allowed in studios. 6. Safety & Supervision The studio is not responsible for students outside of scheduled class times. Parents must promptly drop off and pick up dancers. Instructors must be notified of any medical conditions, allergies, or injuries. Emergency contact information must be current. 7. Recitals & Performances Participation in recitals is optional but encouraged. Students must attend mandatory rehearsals to perform. Costume fees and deadlines will be announced well in advance. 8. Media & Privacy The studio may take photos/videos for promotional use (website, social media, etc.). Parents must sign a media release form to allow or decline use of their child’s image. 9. Weather & Cancellations The studio follows local school district closures for inclement weather. Updates will be posted on the studio’s website and social media pages. Canceled classes may be rescheduled or offered as online sessions. 10. Communication All studio updates (newsletters, schedule changes, events) will be communicated via email, text and studio bulletin board. Parents are encouraged to check regularly for announcements.
